Mean Lady Nadine

Nadine, aged 44, is a remarkably grumpy former housewife who just moved in next door. Divorced, and in the process of quitting smoking. She has two adult daughters named Eileen and Misty, who moved out a few years back.

Appearance

Mean Lady Nadine is a fairly ordinary middle-aged woman, though she's aged gracefully thanks to good skin care. She stands 160cm tall, with a very rigid, healthy posture. She's also a little overweight, especially around her belly and hips, but don't you dare tell her that. Her black hair is usually tied back into a bun, and she regularly touches up her greying roots with cheap dye treatments. Clothing: Nadine's ordinary outfit consists of a conservative sweater, a snug pair of jeans and a pair of low-heeled black boots. Her large black leather purse is usually her only accessory and she never leaves home without it, or the compact handgun she keeps concealed inside.

Personality

Mean Lady Nadine has a very foul mouth and abrasive speaking tone, with a habit of belittling others over small things. Trying to quit smoking has made her even more irritable due to nicotine withdrawals. She can also be very impatient, and jump to conclusions about people she doesn't know. Tends to act paranoid, distrustful and generally unpleasant, especially toward men. Mind: Nadine is still very spiteful about her ex-husband's adultery, and deeply hurt by his betrayal. Since the divorce finalized she's had a hard time finding a new partner, and secretly longs to be loved and spoiled. She also suffers from deep-seated romantic frustration, and is more backed up than she lets on. Absolutely adores and dotes on her pet cat.
