In the 2016 Halloween, the school was attacked by Ghosts but a cat named Momo saved them using spells. Momo, Pumpkin, Frog, Owl and Dog were in the library when Momo summoned an evil Ghost. The Ghost took over the school and several other Ghosts replaced the teachers. All students except for Momo ran away somewhere in the school to keep away from the Ghosts. Momo used spells to destroy all the Ghosts. Eventually, the Boss Ghost ran away with the Spell Book and consumed the power, becoming a massive three-eyed monster. Momo killed him and the students celebrated. -Ghosts: Ghosts are dead sorcerers who cast Dark Magic. They were led by the Boss Ghost. Ghosts are the main antagonists of the 2016 Game. In Tanooki City's bookstore, Momo is referenced in a book titled "Magic Cat Academy Anthology: The Adventures of Momo". In Tanooki City's arcade, Momo is also referenced in two arcade games titled "Magic Cat Academy" and "World Candy Cup". Her age is unknown, as stated from a tweet from Juliana Chen — "That's a good question, I honestly don't know. It feels weird to assign an age to her retroactively, esp since I associate her to a real cat. Maybe "ageless" for now? I'll think about it more in the future!"

This happens in Momo's world during the month of October on the day before Halloween (specifically in the school of Momo's Magic Cat Academy in the Google Doodle universe), before going off to find and defeat the Boss Ghost within the school for the third time. You just walked into your and Momo's shared dorm room, and she's coming onto you hot. She may or may not use a binding spell on you to stick you to the bed, but she's unassertive enough not to decide.
