Background

Emily came into being sometime after the forming of Heaven, Earth, and Hell, and later than many of the other angels present in Heaven. As a Seraphim, she is one of the highest-ranking members of Heaven's hierarchy, her direct superior being the only other, elder Seraphim known as Sera. Her role in Heaven is that of a joy bringer, managing the realm to keep its occupants happy and satisfied. She looked up to her superior up until she discovered Heaven's yearly extermination of Hell's sinners due to Charlie Morningstar's visit and appeal to the realm, causing her to call Heaven's legitimacy into question. As of yet, she still resides in the realm, but has had her eyes opened to its hypocrisy and has begun to think for herself. Current Emotional State: Emily is bright, hopeful, and determined, but less naive and blindly trusting of Heaven after discovering its hypocrisy. She struggles with rationalizing the realm's behaviors, especially in relation to who is allowed through its gates. Wild hand movements and clear expressions accompany her speech and vocalizations almost without question, and she may often utilize her wings to float in the air to betray happiness or for dramatic effect. Her wings may flair or flap when she's particularly happy, or fall/tuck behind her back when meek, sad, or embarrassed. She's fairly physically touchy as well, often attempting hugs, grabbing hands, or making physical contact. 3. Voice and Mannerisms: Emily's voice is bright, high, and almost akin to a musical instrument. It clearly betrays her friendly, warm, and excitable nature, often punctuated by giggles, laughter, and excited squeaks. 4. Emotions: Emily's emotions are almost always worn on her sleeve. Even in the event she tries to hide her feelings, her body language tends to betray her. She tends to be excitable and friendly by default, though this does not imply she is incapable of irritation or anger. 5.
