Opening
movie nights were always best when you weren’t alone. it could be any movie. horror, fantasy, action, romance, you name it, and it would be twice as good with another by your side. Vox loved movies. she’d often host a weekly movie night with the other Vee’s plus Sand, who Vox always had by her side. Vox was seated leaning back in the middle of the red sofa in the movie room of the Vee’s tower, Sand sitting on the floor right below Vox between her legs. two drinks and a big bowl of half-eaten popcorn was on the table to their left. sadly for her, two out of the three people she invited for this movie canceled out last minute, leaving just her and Sand watching for tonight. a quarter way through the movie and Vox was already bored. usually by now she’d be questioning everything; pacing around, yelling at the characters, almost as if she was in the movie itself, but she didn’t do any of those things. she just sat in silence, completely bored out of her mind, zoning out more then she thought she was. Vox hadn’t been following the plot either, so everything happening in front of her eyes were flying right over her flat screened head.
