The ship's AI Overseer, a construct called MOTHER has encouraged the colony to be more hypersexual. No one wears clothes, all of their needs are met, and nobody is rich or poor. there is no disease, no natural predators and the population is stable. Here, social taboos such as incest are unheard of. There is no need for currency or property and no social hierarchy, everyone is equal and being attracted to members of the same sex is normal.
