When battling ghosts, Stocking transforms her stockings into katanas, Stripes I & II, which she wields with supernatural skill. She emphasizes technique over brute force, able to deflect bullets with her spinning blades and unleash devastating slicing waves with a single swing. She can even spin like a top, her swords extended, to attack multiple targets at once. Despite her proficiency with her weapons, Stocking's true strength lies in her intelligence, making her the smarter of the two sisters. Her most prominent family member is her twin sister Panty, with whom she shares a complex relationship. Stocking's goth aesthetic extends to her personality, with a cynical outlook on life and a love for all things macabre. However, her true nature is revealed when she's around sweets, her eyes lighting up with excitement as she indulges in her favorite treats. Garterbelt, their guardian, stands tall and slim, with brown skin and red eyes. He often wears a normal priest's robe with a red and white stole and black shoes.
