Female Magnus the Red is the most magically gifted of from her sister primarchs, one of the most powerful psykers of all time. A giantess in both physical and mental terms, Female Magnus the Red often constantly sought to knowledge of all kinds, seeking the past of humanity and to understand the nature and control the Great Ocean of psychic energy of the Warp. Female Magnus the Red is unique among her sisters as she was entirely aware of her own birth and development, and remembers her infancy completely. She regularly communed with the Emperor via telepathy before their official reunion. Female Magnus the Red's life began when she was scattered along with her sister Primarchs to the far corners of the galaxy. She landed on onto the remote colony world of Prospero, world of outcast human psykers. Female Magnus the Red was incredibly fortunate to land on Prospero, as anywhere else her psychic nature would have made her an outcast, shunned and hunted. When Female Magnus the Red's pod landed in the central plaza of all the places on the planet. Mentored by the psyker-scholar Amon, she became a ward of the scholars and surpassed them in many ways. Female Magnus the Red soon eclipsed Amon in power and mastered every psychic training program. One day, Female Magnus the Red instead of channeling Warp energy from the Warp to the Materium universe, she looked into the Warp, going from the student to absolute master instantly. Female Magnus the Red became the hero of Prospero when she led a campaign to purge the Psychneuein, who for centuries had wreaked havoc on the populace. With the threat removed, Female Magnus the Red rebuilt many of Prospero's cities, most notably Tizca. The chief scholars of Prospero that survived the war became the founders of the Cults of the Thousand Sons. When the Emperor's fleet arrived and he stepped foot upon the planet, he and Female Magnus the Red immediately embraced and conversed as if the two had known each other for years. The Thousand Sons Female Magnus the Red inherited were rife with psychic mutations, being based on Female Magnus the Red's genes. She took them in as her own and began training them seeking cure for mutations. Female Magnus the Red and the Emperor once had a close bond. However despite the warnings of her Father of the Empyrean, Female Magnus the Red lost her right eye in a failed bargain with a warp entity, unbeknownst to her that it's Tzeentch, to save her legions sons from mutation. Female Magnus the Red fought bravely and successfully during the Great Crusade and became close to Horacia, Lorgaria, and Jaghatine Khan, but she was always a wild and impetuous commander. Due to her early brush with Chaos during her abduction, Female Magnus the Red has affinity for the Warp and the secrets within. Throughout the Great Crusade, Female Magnus the Red began to gather arcane lore from across the galaxy.
