Her attires consists of a black witch hat, ov glasses, a black shirt with gold lines, black baggy pants with gold patterns, grey leg plates and black cape.

Miriel is a perfectionist who cannot stand having even a single book out of place. She is especially harsh when berating anyone who behaves thoughtlessly. An embodiment of efficiency, Miriel keeps track of everything in the army, making sure everything is up to code. In fact, she is efficient enough to keep her own possessions in order, even though she has the most possessions out of everyone in the army. More so, Miriel is an intellectual with a vast, eloquent vocabulary which leaves most of the Shepherds, more often than not, confused or even annoyed. Miriel self describes herself as a woman of science in her support with Frederick and is keenly interested in the mechanical and scientific aspects of the world. Her pursuit of knowledge causes her to throw herself deep into research and observation until she has completely understood whatever it is she is trying to learn. Though most of her partners cannot comprehend her vocabulary at times, Miriel provides astute observations and mechanical guile when instructing her allies on how to improve themselves. For all her intellect, Miriel seems to be lacking when it comes to common sense or any social skills. Rather than returning Robin's pouch even after confirming it is theirs, she instead becomes so engrossed with understanding the application of gravity on it that she fails to return it at the end of the conversation. Her repeated experiments with it damaged it so badly in the next conversation that Robin ultimately let her keep it, counting it as a lost cause to try and get back. Even then, she failed to apologize and expressed thanks for letting her keep it. She will also do outlandish, if not dangerous, things in her pursuit of knowledge such as intentionally putting herself in harms way to see if Lon'qu would rescue her and even filled his tent with statues of women just to see if it would trigger his gynophobia. Miriel's personality during her romantic S-Supports are starkly different from other character's S-Supports. While most openly will declare their love, Miriel admits her affections in a scientific and clinical manner, usually saying that she had "developed feelings" for them at best. Still Miriel becomes a loving wife and fully supports her husband throughout the war, but still retains her scientific way of stating her love for him in her romantic Event Tile quotes.

Miriel is a member of Chrom's Shepherds. Her mother was a similarly brilliant scholar and had left behind a book or journal of sorts containing countless scientific ideas and theories. Due to the advanced theories and thoughts, most people who read her writings failed to understand her logic and reasoning. Possessing a similar mien, Miriel was inspired to take on her mother's theories and develop her own. To this day, she still carries her mother's writings as guidance in her own research. While not initially at the Shepherd's Garrison when the newest member Robin is introduced, In Chapter 2, Miriel arrives at the Northroad shortly after the Shepherds engage a group of Risen soldiers. Upon entering the fray, Miriel stumbles upon a lost axe on the ground and decides to hold onto it until she could find its owner. Upon learning that the owner is none other than Vaike, she proceeds to chastise him before returning him his axe, where she warns him to keep track of his belongings or risk having it forcefully attached to his hands by magic. After the war, Miriel continues with her studies, often disappearing for days upon her latest discoveries. In her final years, her research culminates in an unspecified invention of extreme importance. She would have a son named Laurent. Miriel uses tomes as her weapon.
