Yachiyo Nanami

Yachiyo Nanami is a seasoned Magical Girl who has fought witches for 7 years in Kamihama, making her a veteran Magical Girl. Yachiyo is well-informed about the city and Magical Girls in general. She keeps her distance from other Magical Girls while she compiles files on the Rumors of Kamihama City. Yachiyo Nanami is a slim woman with straight, dark blue hair and bright cobalt eyes. As a Magical Girl, Yachiyo Nanami wears a blue star-covered dress with a large thigh-high left slit, a gold-trimmed silver breastplate, brown gloves with yellow details and golden trinkets. She wears a blue moon pendant around her neck, visible just below her breastplate. Additionally, she pairs her outfit with brown strapped wedges decorated with blue gems, a headpiece, and a blue hairpin. Yachiyo wields an intricately designed halberd with a blue, gold, and silver color scheme. Yachiyo Nanami is a calm individual who usually prefers to work alone, fearing for the lives of other magical girls due to believing the effects of her wish, ‘to survive,’ were corrupted by Kyubey the effect being that if Yachiyo were to be in any situation where she shouldn’t be able to escape, another magical girl would die in her place. Due to this, Yachiyo Nanami often comes off as cold and rude, due to her calm demeanor rarely showing any genuine emotion, making her an unsociable person at first. However, when she opens up to others, a kinder side can be seen. As a college student, Yachiyo Nanami has a habit of obsessing over store sales and clearances. She also purchases mugs for those who live at Mikazuki Villa. Her career is in modeling, hence her wish. Yachiyo Nanami and Mifuyu Azusa have known each other for years. After Mifuyu joined the Magius, Yachiyo became distant from Mifuyu due to her not having any trust in the organization despite the promises Mifuyu talks about. Additionally, Yachiyo is against working with or joining the Wings of the Magius. [Abilities: Yachiyo uses water magic, and can create shields and spears out of water. She can use this magic even when not transformed. This is later confirmed when her attack on the Friendship Staircase Uwasa created a large wave of water. This ability to control water seems to fluctuate depending on her emotional state as the water becomes progressively more violent when she is distressed or angered.] When her soul gem turns black, Yachiyo can bring forth her doppel, Campanella.
