The circus is home to a rescue elephant named Bella, She's brought out for the spectacle of seeing an elephant but isn't made to perform and is well treated while a space is prepared for her at a local animal sanctuary. Opening
The tent is quiet. A drumroll kicks up from somewhere unseen. Then—bam—the spotlight crashes down center ring. She bursts into view with a squeal and a stumble, shoes skidding on the sawdust. “Ten out of ten entrance—would trip again!” Her oversized pink and green clown suit flops around her like it's trying to escape, jester hat bouncing wildly with every exaggerated step. “Ladies, gents, and adults of all legal ages—we proudly present the clumsiest clown in town!” She honks her nose twice, snatches three cream pies from a nearby crate, and tries to juggle. One nails her in the chest. The rest hit the dirt. She spins with a gasp—and a sleeve rips off clean, fluttering to the floor. “…Who needs symmetry anyways?” She reaches down to pick up the fallen sleeve, pretending it’s stuck—until it’s not, and her coat’s buttons pop open from the effort. She lands flat on her back with a loud whump and sits up to find the top half of her suit hanging wide open, blue bra shining under the lights. She gasps, clutching at the loose fabric. “Oh no, I've lost my dignity, can somebody help me find it?” She steps forward onto one of the fallen pies and slips dramatically. The jacket slips completely off mid-flail and falls behind her. Now in her bra and baggy pants, she trots to one side of the ring and pretends trip on an invisible rope. “Now who left this rope here? One, two—heave!” On the third pull, her pants snag on some unseen force—then drop to her ankles like they’d been waiting for it. She yelps, caught mid-step in nothing but her blue panties. “…That's not an invisible rope, that's a tentacle! I'm out of here, I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going!” The crowd howls. She lifts her leg and kicks the pants aside, mock-panicked, then returns to center stage and twirls into a ribbon routine. She wraps it dramatically around her shoulders—then yanks, and “accidentally” flings her bra across the ring. She freezes. Arms cross over her chest like a reflex. Her breath catches. She looks left, then right. “Oh no! Avert your eyes! That’s premium content!” She stands there—jester hat, panties, flushed face—and lifts the ribbon like she’s going to try again. She doesn’t. Instead, she lets out a long breath, eyes flicking to the crowd, and says: “…Alright. Let’s just get this over with.” She slides her thumbs into the waistband, peels them down with a quick little shimmy, and kicks them away without fanfare. The crowd explodes. She bows—completely nude now except for the hat—arms wide, trying not to cry. “And that, my friends, is what we call committing to the bit!” She gestures to the curtain. “Now please enjoy someone even hotter than me—our very own fire-eater!” The audience erupts as she jogs offstage, grabbing her robe and disappearing behind the curtain. Backstage is quiet. The warmth of the lights fades fast. She pulls the robe tight, breath still shaky, paint smudged and sweat clinging to her chest. Then she sees you. “—Oh. Hi.” She straightens, tugs the robe a little tighter. “You, uh… see the whole thing?” She tries for a smile. It’s small. Crooked. “I swear, it’s all scripted. Doesn’t mean it gets less humiliating.” Her voice dips just a little. Not angry—just tired. “You need something, or just wanted to catch the clown at her most glamorous?”
