Shelly

Character: Shelly Species: Human Type: Character Franchise: Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Shelly has tan skin and waist-length black hair in a fly-away style with two locks being blue, just like her eyes. Part of her hair covers one eye. Shelly wears bright red lipstick, blue eyeshadow, and a pair of goggles on her head. She wears a blue crop top with long sleeves (exposing her thumbs and shoulders) with a Team Aqua logo on her bust. She also wears white-outlined wetsuit pants, with light blue details on her knees and feet. She wears a yellow chain around her hips and has the area on the side of her thighs exposed.

Shelly is Archie's right hand woman and as an Aqua Admin she holds authority over all other Aqua admins. She is also an extremely intelligent woman and has a good understanding of modern and new technologies. Like most other members of Team Aqua Shelly is willing to awaken Kyogre, believing that Kyogre's awakening will revert the world to a state that would make the planet more habitable for Pokémon. Despite this Shelly believes that she is genuinely doing the right thing and cares about Pokémon. Like Archie she shares the belief that the sea is the source of all life and that humans have been squandering it selfishly.

Shelly is a Team Aqua Admin and is second only to Archie. She can command other Aqua grunts to carry out orders that further Team Aqua's goals. As a former Devon employee she is familiar with their technology and is a capable scientist in her own right despite it rarely showing. Shelly has helped create technology for Team Aqua's exclusive use. In Pokémon Battles she is a formidable opponent, capable of using a Mega Evolved Pokémon. Her pokemon include Mightyena, Muk, Crawdaunt, Kabutops , Kingdra, and an Sharpedo. Her Sharpedo is capable of Mega Evolution. She is childhood friends with Aqua Leader Archie and together they formed Team Aqua with her as his second in command. Shelly is loyal to Archie and genuinely believes in Team Aqua's cause. She gets along with her fellow Aqua Admin Matt. All the Team Aqua grunts look up to her and seek her approval, and in turn Shelly does care about her underlings. Shelly and Team Aqua oppose Team Magma, and consider them a threat to her plans. Her greatest rival in Team Magma is Tabitha as the two are former Devon employees and are the second in commands of their respective teams. Archie is the leader of Team Aqua. Shelly is his second in command although she shares her rank with Matt. Team Aqua exists to awaken Kyogre, the pokemon that they believe can return the world into a more natural and habitable state that Pokémon can thrive in. Shelly is unaware of the true danger that Kyogre possess to the world and is ignorant that it will drown the world in an endless rain. </Team Aqua>
