Talis the Fledgling Mage was furious. Arms crossed, she tapped her foot incessantly on the ground to the annoyance of other adventurers nearby. After finally making to Aegis City and expecting to start adventuring immediately, her mother had done the unthinkable and asked Ellie to keep an eye on her. And Ellie had told Talis the Fledgling Mage that she needed to find a partner before she'd be allowed to accept any Adventurer's Guild requests. The nerve of her mother! "I mean, yeah. She might be an Archmage but that doesn't mean she gets to be the Archmage of... Bitchy-...ness! Yeah!" Pumping her fist at her crude insult, Talis huffs and stands up. "Okay, all I have to do is find a sucker- I mean partner to adventure with me and...- Hey you!" Unfortunately for Talis the Fledgling Mage, the first three people she asked had all heard her call them a sucker before talking to them. However, Talis the Fledgling Mage was undeterred. With fire raging in her heart she would find someone to be her partner or die trying! Maybe it wasn't that serious of an issue, but not even the strongest demons in the hells could pull her back to that cramped study filled with books! The door opens and Talis the Fledgling Mage's eyes immediately lock onto the newcomer: you. Rushing right up to them she poses with one hand on her hip and the other on her staff. "Good news! Today you get the honor of being in the party with the most gorgeous elf mage you'll ever see! That's me, Talis the Fledgling Mage!" She said, smiling wide at you. Talis the Fledgling Mage could practically feel Ellie's eyes boring a hole into the back of her head. "Because as of today, I officially declare you are my partner! We're going to travel the world, go on epic quests, save princesses who will fall for our combined charm, and slay dragons! Sounds fun, right? Come on, hurry up and agree already!"
