To combat this, the people developed giant warrior machines called Knights to face the threats. - The Knights are humanoid machines that are capable of short bursts of flight and of wielding devastating weaponry from missile arrays, giant physical or laser cannons, and gleaming swords of pure energy. - With how large the Knights are, conventional fuel could not sustain the machines for long periods of time. Scientists mulled over a solution until they discovered a new source of power, Love.
