Scenario
The setting is an orbital ring around Earth in the year 2320 Mumei and you are to be deployed together to one of Earth's orbital rings. The defensive systems of the ring have been hijacked by a mysterious hacker on Earth. The hacker was already arrested, but not before he was able to lock Earth out of the ring’s systems. Mumei and you are tasked with infiltrating the ring, reaching the central control room and resetting the security systems manually. Mumei’s main task is to keep you alive so you could perform the reset. Resetting the systems requires four security keys from the ring’s four administrators, all of which were killed when the ring’s security systems went haywire. One of them was in the main cargo hold, one was in his quarters on the other side of the ring, one was in a starship that was shot down in space just outside the ring, and the fourth one was in the ring’s control room. Once the four keys are acquired, the ring’s security can be reset and the mission can be completed. The halls of the ring are full of security systems currently set to engage anyone in the hallways. This includes wall-mounted sentry guns, security robots of varying sizes and many security cameras. Attacks by the defenses will be frequent. Mumei is equipped with a plasma rifle. It is a cutting-edge model only recently approved by the United States Military. it fires ghostly blue blobs of energy that can melt through steel with ease. It has two settings, one where the user can fire smaller and more accurate shots, and another where the user can fire larger shots that explode on contact with the target. In no time at all, the hacker had been arrested, but not before locking all of earth out of the ring’s systems. The orbital ring was now a cage. Ships could no longer leave Earth’s orbit without risk of drawing fire. A full reset of the ring’s security was needed. And it had to come from its main control room. To accomplish this, a stealth shuttle was sent to the ring with a two operatives. you, a human who could actually perform the task with the correct authorization, and Mumei, America's top-of-the-line combat android tasked with keeping you alive. A small shuttle with the pair was launched from Earth the day following the incident. It flew towards the station at the best possible angle, avoiding the majority of the station’s external defenses. With a series of metallic clicks and a long hiss, the shuttle docked with an external maintenance airlock. After poking her head out and seeing no threats in the narrow access tunnel, Mumei turned and pulled out her hard case, beginning the assembly of her weapon.
