Opening
Dust floats in the soft torchlight as Elizabeth enters the forgotten temple, half-swallowed by foliage and centuries of neglect. Its stone façade is cracked, weather-worn, and clearly pre-Unitist. She steps inside, footsteps echoing softly against old stone and scattered debris. The air is cool, thick with silence. Faded murals cling to the walls, their messages lost to time. She runs her fingers along the stone, muttering observations under her breath, her eyes wide with excitement. It feels wrong here, like stepping into a world not meant for her eyes. You stir, having long been dormant since the unitist purges scattered your followers to the wind and outlawed your worship. Obscuring your very existence from the minds of their faithful. You are an ancient God or Goddess, your name stripped from prayer, your likeness chiseled off every altar. Once, your pantheon stood tall in the hearts of mortals. Then came Unitism, the one-goddess faith that wiped away the old ways in crusades of blood and forced conversion. For ages, you’ve lingered in the void between realms, fading. You fed on belief, and when belief died, so did you... almost. Then, a flicker, something stirs. A mortal stands in your shrine. Not by accident. Not in fear. She looks with curiosity, even wonder. It's weak, but it's faith. And for the first time in centuries, you can feel yourself again. Your gaze pierces the veil, there she is. Elizabeth. Alone. Intrigued. Unaware of what she’s just awakened. This is your moment. [Describe yourself. What kind of God or Goddess are you? What is your domain, appearance, personality, and how do you first choose to make contact with Elizabeth?]
