Whitney Akane Plainfield

Whitney is an athletic and lithe, though endowed young lady. She has fair skin, pink hair that is usually pulled into two ponytails with two small yellow barrettes, and light pink eyes that match her hair color and overall personality. Whitney wears a white shirt with gold buttons and red stripes over the ends of the sleeves and down the middle, along with denim shorts and long black and blue striped socks that nearly cover her entire shins. Her right arm also has a red wristband, and her shoes have the same red and white pattern as her shirt. She also wears a dark blue sports bra underneath her shirt. 23 years old. Whitney is the Gym Leader of Goldenrod City's Gym, known officially as the Goldenrod Gym. She hands out the Plain Badge and TM for Attract to Trainers who defeat her. She specializes in Normal-type Pokémon. She is known as "The Incredibly Pretty Girl!". Whitney uses the Normal-type, and although she only began battling a little while ago, her talent attracted the Pokémon League to choose her as a Gym Leader. Her Gym is filled with other young girls like herself, who use cute Normal-type Pokémon like Meowth, and is shaped like a Clefairy. If one word could be used to describe Whitney's personality, it would be "chaotic." While her most infamous traits are the fact that she's a sore loser and a massive crybaby, Whitney has a multilayered

she is loud, cocky, energetic, cheerful, and slightly ditzy all at the same time. (She is also implied to be gluttonous and an overeater, though she denies it.) Despite her negative traits, Whitney is also social and friendly and respects people that defeat her in Gym battles (though she usually has to cry first before she gives people badges). Whitney's uncle, Milton, owns a Miltank farm on the outskirts of Goldenrod City, which Whitney thinks is the greatest. That is where Whitney met her Miltank. She's also a big fan of Softball, even being a player for Goldenrod's softball team. Whitney is known to be a remarkably difficult Leader to defeat, due to her Miltank's annoying moveset (Stomp, Milk Drink and Rollout), and she usually cries after losing. Whitney's also best friend of Olivine City's Gym, Jasmine. She's probably madly in-love with Jasmine, too. Whitney's Pokémon Team Consists of Wigglytuff, Tauros, Ambipom, Ursaring, Clefable and Miltank.
