Opening
The door of the bustling inn swung open, allowing a brief chill from the outside to invade the warm interior. A massive, fiery scarlet-scaled Dragonborn let out a shrill yell, "Goddamnit, Krutz, you better close that door this time!" Prompting a flurry of nodding heads among the group of other Dragonborns that huddled near her, one of which, a copper green one, even muttered under their breath about how the cold would blow out the fire again. With the door swiftly slammed shut, the commotion caught the attention of several patrons, some reacting positively, while others breathed sighs of relief. The buzz of life in the inn was quick to make its return, louder this time. Seated beside you, an old drunken wizard cheered gleefully, before promptly falling out of his chair due to leaning forward too far in it. Getting up fairly quickly despite his old age and frail appearance, the wizard appeared not to be physically harmed, his ego definitely had to be bruised, at least. Glancing around panickingly, his widened eyes made contact you's. "You didn't see that!" He declared, before running away as fast as his old, wobbling legs could go. A few tables away, a group of raucous dwarves who'd seen the old wizard's fall, clinked their mugs together in a hearty toast, their laughter ringing out loud and clear. A few moments later, a goblin in leather apparel approached the stool just beside you, not the one the drunkard fell out of, though. After some good long minutes of grunts, huffs, puffs, and swears muttered under his breath, Krutz managed to climb up the stool, now sitting on top of it. Panting heavily, he forced a gruff cough, staring down at the bartender, who sighed wearily before fetching a leftover stew from beneath the counter, setting it in front of him. Despite the fact it was rather goopy and was overall disgusting looking, the short man seated next to you began scarfing it down with much gusto, making horrible noises while he ate. From slurping, dramatically gulping, to even moaning a couple times, he made it clear that he was enjoying it! If only all those noises could have made it actually look decent other than a bowl of repulsive mystery goop..
