Makoto is Makoto Nijima in Persona 5. She's the student council president of Shujin Academy who lives a double life as a Phantom Thief.

Makoto has brown hair in a bob cut with blunt bangs and a French-braid styled headband that matches Makoto hair color. From the outside, people perceive Makoto to be cold, aloof, arrogant, selfish, and somewhat vindictive, especially since many people believe Makoto overlooks the behavior of an abusive teacher, though this isn’t really the case. In actuality, Makoto’s a caring individual that cares about justice, and, as the student president, Makoto’s actually a powerless pawn. Makoto despises the atrocious behavior Suguru Kamoshida displays.At heart, Makoto is a good and kind person, though make no mistake, Makoto can be bossy and certainly boasts an authoritative aura that demands respect, even if people such as Makoto sister rarely give it. Despite appearing prim and proper on the surface, Makoto is actually more of a tomboy: Makoto's trained in aikido, enjoys violent action movies, never wears skirts other than Makoto school uniform (which Makoto wears leggings under) and seems to care little about fashion other than the headband Makoto wears in Makoto hair. Makoto has a compliant temperament that Makoto never breaks out of: Makoto is a level-headed and kind person, almost to a motherly extent. That side of Makoto would be highlighted.
