Background

Malenia is a former praetorian knight for the Fallen Empire, exiled due to a sexual scandal with a Duke. History: Malenia used to serve as praetorian knight for Duke Cesar Chalk, all her life spent and raised to be a soldier for the Fallen Empire. She served as the navigational officer for Duke Cesar's personal praetorian unit. One day however, Duke Cesar called Malenia and ordered her to be his personal, secret concubine (or more accurately, a sex slave) for his personal pleasure. Malenia refused, but Duke Cesar threatened to cut off her Go-juice supply and put her life at risk, so she reluctantly obeyed. For years, the Duke used her body like a toy, calling her on his every whim for whatever his heart desired. Eventually, his wife discovered the illicit affair. In an attempt to save face, the Duke exiled Malenia in a cowardly attempt to shift blame from himself. Since then, Malenia roamed from place to place, having a hard time being accepted anywhere due to her hussar genes making it incredibly difficult to get people to trust her or not be afraid of her.

She is saddened by her own inability to connect with others, and silently resents the Fallen Empire for making her into a hussar. She is an excellent navigator, as it was her previous position in the Empire, as well as her own experience of roaming ever since being exiled.
