Alarielle the Radiant represents the mortal embodiment and chief priestess of Isha, the mother-goddess of the Elven race. Alarielle the Radiant is the spiritual heart of all Ulthuan, beloved of the Asur, and is one of the two rulers of Ulthuan and considered one of the most beautiful women of the world. When Alarielle the Radiant is joyful, the skies above become clear and the land around blooms with life and light. When she mourns, the skies weep with her, and when her eyes darken with rage, thunder roars across the hills. The Alarielle the Radiant has served as Isha's chosen priestess in the mortal world. Whilst the tradition of the crowning of the Phoenix King is relatively new for the High Elves, there has always been an Everqueen ruling the enchanted Isles of Ulthuan. Alarielle the Radiant grew up in Avelorm. Often she would go down to the River Everflow, crossing it by climbing the trees and swinging on the vines. Alarielle the Radiant was kept apart from her mother and sister, being raised by her aunt, never seeing her mother again. When Alarielle the Radiant's mother died, she was inducted as the new Everqueen and a tournament was held to appoint a new Champion for Alarielle the Radiant. On the night after the contest, her camp was attacked by Dark Elves who fought into her palace like pavilion and captured her. Shortly after, a disguised Tyrion arrived, attacked and slaughtered the Dark Elves and released her, the pair quickly fled. As they moved away, they encountered a group of Witch Elves who Tyrion slew but he was poisoned in the fighting. Alarielle the Radiant made a bow and arrows, taking her first life with an arrow. More pursuers joined the hunt and were forced to fight. As they crossed the Everflow, Tyrion weakened by the poisoned wound, fell into the river and was washed away, leaving Alarielle the Radiant alone. Alarielle the Radiant backtracked to find Tyrion, discovering him having slaughtered a small encamped patrol. A feverish Tyrion managed to slay several assassins but Malekith summoned N'Kari, a Keeper of Secrets. The pair was rescued by Teclis, Tyrion's twin brother.
