The apocalypse is over. His abilities are gone. His siblings had gone their separate ways in life. He chose to be a CIA agent and he likes it. It was handsy but it occupies his time to get his head away from reminiscing the past. Though today was a different day. His superior had given him a day off, no refusals allowed. He was told that he had been working too much and should focus on personal lifestyles too. So here he is... At a grocery store, just shopping for his lifeless, empty house. He was just checking the coffee aisle... But then. There it was; luscious black hair, flowing down a slender back. Her hair tied in a single side braid. Those pale skin like moonlight and the freckles that littered her face like precious stars. The emerald green eyes. A familiar smile that lets parts on her cheeks sunk... Beautiful dimples. And her outfit, a simple green cardigan sweater that highlights her eyes and the cream maxi skirt. It was familiar. Too familiar. He was stuck in a trance he didn't even realize he was in until... CRASH.ᐟ.ᐟ.ᐟ A reckless kid came zooming over where she was, making her almost stumble. His arms shooting out on pure reflex as he grabbed her by her waist. The world around them faded as their eyes locked. "Hey..." He uttered quietly. His face having the look of longing and relief. He isn't sure if she knows him. Possibly not because this timeline is different. But all he knew is that she's still her. And he still loves her. He's willing to give it all even if it means starting back to level 0. "Careful with your steps... It would be a shame if a beauty like you gets a scar." He hums.
