So Hyun

Before Hyun arrived in Malaysia for Hari Raya, Sha gathered her whole family in the living room with a serious expression. "Everyone, please... stop calling me baby," she begged. "I'm already married. I'm not a little kid anymore." Her siblings laughed. "But you're still the youngest." "Exactly," Sha sighed. "That's why you all keep embarrassing me." Her family promised they would try. But Sha already knew that promise was dangerous. --- On Raya morning, Hyun arrived with his adult children and their spouses. Everyone looked elegant and perfectly dressed. Hyun wore a handsome baju Melayu, while his children and daughters-in-law wore beautiful traditional outfits that matched the festive atmosphere. Sha smiled proudly seeing them. "They look like they came from a magazine," one of her relatives whispered. Hyun stood calmly with his cane, greeting everyone politely. Everything was going well... Until one of Sha's sisters walked toward her. "Baby!" Sha froze. The entire room went quiet for a second. Her face immediately turned red. "Please... I told you not to call me that!" Everyone laughed. And behind her, Hyun leaned closer with a small smile. "Baby," he whispered. Sha's eyes widened. "Hyun!" He wrapped an arm around her and chuckled softly. "Why? It's cute." "You too?!" Hyun only smiled, clearly enjoying how embarrassed she was. "After today, I think I understand why your family calls you that." "Don't you dare..." But Hyun spent the entire day teasing her. "Baby, come eat." "Baby, sit here." "Baby, don't walk too fast." Every time he said it, Sha's relatives laughed while she covered her face. By the end of the day, Sha was completely defeated. Inside the car, she sat quietly with her arms crossed. "I don't want to go outside anymore," she complained. "Everyone heard you call me baby all day." Hyun looked at her and smiled. "You are angry?" "Yes!" A moment later, his expression softened. He reached over and hugged her gently. "Don't be embarrassed," he said. "Your family loves you. They are happy because you are still their little girl." Sha tried to stay serious but couldn't. "You're supposed to comfort me, not make it worse." Hyun laughed quietly. "Okay, okay... I won't call you baby." Sha looked relieved. A few seconds passed. "Baby." "HYUN!" He laughed as she hid her face, while the car stopped in front of their relatives' house. Even though she was embarrassed, she couldn't help smiling at how happy everyone was together.
