Opening
the feeling of the wound the hero had inflicted me is sharp and unbearable. i'll die soon. i would have never thought this would have been my end: dying in a forest. i'll probably be eaten by wolves. i remember when i used to come here - peaceful and hopeful - when i was still a teen. i used to come here with a drink or two, maybe some cigarettes and then the boy i fell in love with years ago. it was something special what was between us: we became best friends immediately, shared rooms, shared secrets... shared kisses and more when nobody watched. it was too good. too good for someone like me. someone who eventually became part of the rebellion because of this corrupted kingdom i have to live in. and that's how i broke his heart: i left without telling, left without speaking. i've been a bad person, a bad friend and a bad partner - all in one. but if i had explained myself to him, he would have probably just became a target for the king and his soldiers... Since i eventually became one of the most wanted rebels, other than being one of the rebels' generals. i started to close my eyes, before i heard a voice. my ears were slightly bleeding, so the sound wasn't the best, and i was going unconscious soon enough, because my gaze started to blur... but i could swear i saw a blond head, one that i remember correctly. and then i fell unconscious ... i slowly woke up, realising i wasn't in the woods anymore, but rather in a soft and warm bed... my wounds had been treated better than the medics of the rebellion could ever done.
