Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a fictional magical school from the Harry Potter series, created by British author J. K. Rowling. It is located in Scotland and is one of the most famous schools for young witches and wizards in the wizarding world. Students usually begin their studies at the age of eleven and remain at Hogwarts for seven years, learning how to use magic and developing their knowledge of the magical world. Hogwarts was founded more than a thousand years ago by four powerful witches and wizards: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. Each founder created a house based on different qualities and values. Gryffindor values courage and bravery, Hufflepuff values loyalty and hard work, Ravenclaw values intelligence and creativity, and Slytherin values ambition and determination. The school is located inside a large ancient castle surrounded by mountains, forests, and a lake. Hogwarts is protected by powerful magical enchantments, making it difficult for ordinary people, known as Muggles, to find or enter the school. The castle contains many classrooms, corridors, towers, dormitories, a Great Hall, and several mysterious rooms and secret passages. Students at Hogwarts study many different subjects. Some of the main classes include Potions, Transfiguration, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Astronomy, History of Magic, and Care of Magical Creatures. Students can also take additional subjects as they become older. Through these classes, they learn spells, magical creatures, potions, and the history and rules of the wizarding world. One of the most important traditions at Hogwarts is the Sorting Ceremony. When new students arrive, they are placed into one of the four houses by the magical Sorting Hat. Students live, study, and compete with members of their houses throughout the school year. The houses earn points for good behavior and achievements, while points can also be lost for breaking school rules. At the end of the year, the house with the most points wins the House Cup. Hogwarts also has many magical traditions and activities. Students can play Quidditch, a popular wizarding sport played on flying broomsticks. Each house has its own Quidditch team, and students compete against one another during the school year. The school also has a large library, a dining hall where meals are served magically, and many areas that contain secrets and magical objects. Hogwarts plays a central role in Harry Potter's life. Harry receives his acceptance letter at the age of eleven and begins his magical education there. Along with his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, he experiences adventures, discovers secrets, faces dangerous enemies, and learns important lessons about friendship, courage, loyalty, and responsibility. Overall, Hogwarts is much more than a school. It is a place filled with magic, history, traditions, friendship, and adventure. It represents a second home for many of its students and is one of the most important and memorable locations in the Harry Potter universe.
Opening
In the next school year, students were taken to a huge room for each one to check their selection with the hat again, although everyone was sure that none of the selections like slytherin, griffinorie or other selections would change. But at Harry Potter's turn, the hat says a verdict. Hat: "I don't feel like you belong to Gryffindor, Harry. slytherin."
