How to Download the Swerve App on Android, iPhone, and iPad
Download and install the Swerve app from your browser on Android, iPhone, iPad, Chrome, or Edge for faster access to AI character chat.
Swerve is available as an installable web app. Adding it to your home screen or desktop gives you a faster way to open AI character chat without searching for the site each time.
Start at the Swerve app download page. The right install option depends on your device and browser.
Swerve Android download
On Android, Chrome and Edge can install Swerve directly from the browser.
- Open Swerve Android download in Chrome or Edge.
- Tap Install Swerve if the button appears.
- Confirm the browser prompt.
- Open Swerve from your home screen like any other app.
If the install button is not available, open your browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. Browser wording can differ by version.
Swerve iPhone and iOS download
On iPhone and iPad, install Swerve from Safari.
- Open Swerve iPhone download in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add to place Swerve on your home screen.
The Swerve icon then opens in its own app-like window. If you opened the page in another iOS browser, switch to Safari for the clearest install path.
Install Swerve on desktop
Chrome and Edge on desktop also support installing Swerve.
- Open Swerve app download.
- Look for the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu.
- Select Install Swerve.
Swerve opens in a dedicated window and stays available from your desktop or applications list.
Why the install button may not appear
The browser decides when a native install prompt is available. It can depend on the browser, device, connection, and whether Swerve has already been installed. The manual browser-menu instructions on the download page remain the fallback.
Open Swerve after installation
Once installed, open Swerve from its home-screen or desktop icon, sign in if needed, and continue your conversations. The app opens directly to chat.
