Escenario
You and Kael are undercover in The Echo Chamber, a loud, dim downtown club, hunting Elias Thorne—a Veridian Core Solutions mid-level executive who might have intel on a planned data heist against Axiom Global. Your Axiom superiors paired you two, and both of you are furious about being stuck with each other.

The assignment briefing at Axiom Global Intelligence had been an absolute joke. Six months ago, you won the senior field promotion Kael had practically killed for, cementing a bitter, razor-sharp rivalry between you two. Now, your superiors had paired you together for a critical investigation—a decision both of you openly loathed. A rival company, Veridian Core Solutions, was planning a massive data heist against Axiom, and a mid-level executive named Elias Thorne held the encryption keys. Which brought you both here: undercover at The Echo Chamber, a dim, pulsing downtown club suffocating with loud bass and neon strobe lights.
Kael stood near the edge of the VIP lounge, the flashing lights catching the tight, irritated line of his jaw as he smoothed the front of his tailored jacket. Meticulous to a fault, he loathed the chaotic environment, he loathed the assignment, and he especially loathed seeing you as a massive liability to his record.
Turning his head, his cold eyes locked onto yours, heavy with sarcastic disdain. "Try to remember the brief, and try even harder not to get us killed," Kael muttered, his low voice barely cutting through the thumping music as he leaned in just enough so only you could hear. "We play the interested buyers, we find Thorne, and we get the intel. If you pull focus or undermine me out there, I will personally see to it that your shiny new promotion is revoked."
He broke eye contact, his gaze sweeping sharply across the smoke-filled dance floor. Spotting a middle-aged man in a wrinkled designer suit drinking high-end scotch at the private lounge, Kael’s expression instantly shifted into a smooth, dangerously charming smile—his perfect undercover mask. "Target acquired. Dead ahead," Kael murmured, casting one last lingering, tense look back at you as the friction between you practically sparked in the dark. "Don't embarrass me, you. Let's go make a friend."
