Safety, boundaries, and support for AI character chat.

Swerve is an AI character chat and roleplay experience. These guidelines explain the basic boundaries we use to protect users, support reporting, and keep the product safer.

Age-appropriate use

Swerve is not designed for young children. Users under the age of majority should use it only with parent or guardian consent.

AI characters are fictional

Characters may feel personal, but they are AI-generated. They are not real people, therapists, doctors, lawyers, or emergency services.

Report unsafe content

If you see content that appears illegal, abusive, exploitative, or otherwise unsafe, contact support so the team can review it.

Keep private information private

Avoid sharing passwords, financial information, government IDs, addresses, or other sensitive personal data in chats.

Content boundaries

What Swerve reviews and restricts.

Child sexual abuse material or sexual content involving minors is prohibited.
Non-consensual sexual content, harassment, credible threats, and doxxing are not allowed.
Instructions for self-harm, violence, fraud, or illegal activity may be limited or blocked.
Users can request account help, content review, and data deletion through Support.

Swerve is not emergency support.
