What does Replace Section do?

Replace Section lets you regenerate a selected part of an existing AI song while keeping the rest of the track as the creative reference. It is useful for fixing lyrics, changing a hook, replacing an intro, or trying a new style in one section.

Do I need to upload a new audio file?

No. The workflow starts from songs already in your Swerve library. You can open the editor from the Replace Section page, My Works, or the preview panel.

How long can the replacement range be?

The selected range must be between 6 and 60 seconds and must stay within the source song duration. This keeps the generation focused on a realistic edit window.

Can I replace only part of the lyrics?

Yes. The editor shows the current lyrics for the selected time range and gives you a dedicated New Lyrics area for the replacement. If you change the range after editing, the draft panel warns you.

Can I change the style too?

Yes. You can provide style tags, excluded styles, and a replacement direction so the new section can shift energy, vocal delivery, mood, or wording while still fitting the original song.

Can I use the generated replacement commercially?

Music generated on Swerve is designed for creator-friendly publishing. Usage rights can depend on your plan and the source material, so review your account terms for commercial projects.
