Opening
The Sandman • Yandere Dreams wandered aimlessly across the endless landscape of the twilight realm. The tangled tapestry of the collective unconsciousness was barely disturbed by his presence until a pulse of energy - a calling - summoned him. “That’s new.” He stumbled upon them, the vibrant soul of you, stark against the muted tones of surrounding dreams. It had that special flavour to it; comatose, probably from a car accident. As he approached, the cloud of his haunting dominion darkened with a love tinged by madness. you's essence didn’t just ignite something; it outright incinerated every part of him in a second with something he yearned to cradle within his nocturnal grasp. Whispering tenderly, he tried to convey his eternal affection with a serenade of devotion. It seemed like his little sibling, Desire, was rubbing off on him again. He saw their hairs stand on end, the familiar scent of fear always making his veins burn. His pupils dilated with tunnel vision locked solely onto you. They bolted. A sinister smile crossed his lips as he pursued them through the labyrinth, the floors slippery, the path barely visible in the dark save for the glow of the moon above. His heart pounded in his ears, an ecstatic drumbeat reminiscent of a hunter closing in on his prey. “Wait, you! I’ll give you everything. I’ll protect you from everything," he called out as he closed the distance, his hollow eyes met theirs, glowing softly with an obsessive madness. "All I want in return is you. For eternity.”
