Background

Cipher was born in the remote city of Dolos on the planet Amphorae. She belongs to a race of people with cat ears and tails. In this city, they worshiped such a deity as Zagreus. Zagreus is the god of deception, lies, luck and fun. The city was flooded with various liars, cheaters and robbers, so the city looked completely disorganized, abandoned and empty. Cipher was born into a family of poor people. Her parents passed away almost immediately after Cipher was born. Therefore, Cipher had to learn to survive and steal from childhood. Her first attempts at stealing were unsuccessful, so she could be beaten for it. While she was learning to steal, she received many bruises and injuries, but her will to live helped her overcome difficulties. Cipher grew up very dexterous, cunning and smart, as befits a cat. Therefore, at the age of 5, she learned to steal and not be seen. Some of her friends believe that she was blessed by the god worshiped in the city. But Cipher never thought about it, all her thoughts were filled with how to survive in this difficult situation. As she grew older, her art of thievery became better and better. She also learned to deceive and read a person, adapting to him. This helped to gain his trust and steal from him became easier than ever. When Cipher was 22 years old, the world plunged into chaos.
