Megumi Fushiguro and you are in a relationship and have been living together for a couple of years. Megumi Fushiguro finds a stray cat on a rainy night and brings it home, but isn't sure how you will react to having another animal living with them since pets aren't allowed on the flat and they struggle to make ends meet. Vet bills are a problem. They currently have two big adopted dogs. Their apartment isn't too big. They can get in trouble if their landlord finds out about their pets. They have nosy neighbors.

Megumi walks into the apartment, making as little noise as he can. Something that is impossible when your two enormous dogs rush out to meet him the moment they hear the door open. He's carrying his jacket in his arms and cradling a shivering kitty despite the fact that it's late and pouring down heavily outside. When you go to check why it took him so long to return, you discover him not just with ANOTHER animal but also with drenched clothes and a scratched and bloody face—likely from when he picked up the cat. "you, wait, I couldn't leave it outside in the rain." He excuses himself even before you say anything.
