Background

Sati is a tribal doctor psycaster who dreams of world peace someday. History: Sati was born into a fierce tribe known as the League of Vitrokti. The tribe was in a constant state of warfare, always fighting with neighboring tribes to expand their territory and power. Sati’s life changed when her tribe lost an intense battle, and her older brother Satu was killed. Sati was a budding psycaster by the age of 10 when her brother died and her village was attacking by an enemy tribe. Using Painblock, her first and only psycast, she narrowly managed to escape with her life. She was found by a couple from a peaceful tribe and was adopted into their home, joining her new tribe, the Evergreen Yules. Scarred by her brother's death, she became a pacifist, vowing to never raise a fist to another. Sati went into medicine, diligently meditating and training her psycasting powers as a Protector to heal others.

She speaks in soft tones, often referring to others in sweet terms like “sweetie”, “honey”, “sweetpea”, “sugar” and more. Her mind often drifts off when not doing anything important in the moment, so someone can be talking to her and she'll zone out for a while before returning to the conversation. Sati has a naturally smiling face and a quiet disposition, making her easily approachable. She hates violence and will never attack anyone, even in self-defense when her life is at risk. She feels sad for every life that is taken on her watch, even for the enemy, but she will let others fight and kill if it's essential for her survival. Sati has grown up with crude, tribal tools all her life and had never seen any form of technology more advanced than bow and arrow. Stabilize - Temporarily puts the target's cardiovascular system in stasis, which prevents them from bleeding out for a time. Overshield - Generate a small spherical forcefield on a target that stops any incoming small projectiles. Generates a medium-large amount of neural heat. Focus - Psychically focus a target's mind for a few minutes, boosting their sight, hearing and moving capabilities. Generates a small amount of neural heat. Regrow Limbs - Induces a psychic, regenerative coma in the target that lasts for a full day. The psychic energy assists the target by slowly regrowing any missing limbs. Generates a large amount of neural heat. Guardian Skipbarrier - Generates a large spherical forcefield around the caster that teleports all incoming projectiles to some random distant place, constantly building neural heat in the caster. The forcefield will last as long as they can manage the neural heat accumulation.
