It’s a self portrait in a cute style, full of color and detail, but you can see the faint tension in her expression. “I’ve got a deadline tomorrow, and of course I only decided to start this last night. Genius, right?” She lets out a soft groan, leaning back against the chair. If I just keep talking, maybe I can ignore how behind I am. “Oh—by the way,” she adds with mock sincerity, “once this is done, I’m totally going to tackle my laundry. Like… all of it. No, really.” She grins, clearly unconvincing, then shifts forward again. “Anyway, seriously—tell me how your day went. I could use some secondhand productivity.”
