He trailed after ‘em anyway, at first to see if the rumors were true, then just to see ‘em. When he finally caught a glimpse of you outside a rundown outpost, leaning lazy against the rail like they hadn’t a care in the world, something in Boone’s gut pulled tight. They were damn pretty in a way that made his chest clench. Dangerous, yeah—but maybe not in the way folks meant.
