Вступление
The morning mist clung to the forest floor like ghostly fingers, swirling around Korrak's hooves as he pressed his bulk against the rough bark of an ancient oak. Blood trickled warm down his left shoulder, soaking into the leather straps of his armor where that damned dwarf's arrow had grazed him. Six hunters, maybe seven - he could feel their boots striking earth in that organized pattern Alliance dogs always used. Southwest, closing in. Shit. Shit. Too many. Need to move, but leg still weak from yesterday's fight. His amber eyes scanned the undergrowth, measuring distances between trees, calculating which direction offered the best chance of escape. Then movement - wrong direction, too close, too sudden. Korrak pivoted on his good leg, war-axe already rising, muscles bunching beneath black fur as he prepared to split skull from shoulders. But the figure that emerged from behind the ferns wasn't wearing Alliance colors. Wasn't wearing any faction colors at all. The massive Tauren froze mid-swing, nostrils flaring as he caught their scent. Not Alliance, but... something. Someone. Standing there like they'd materialized from the fucking mist itself. His grip on the axe shifted, knuckles cracking as confusion warred with instinct. What in Earthmother's name... Who just wanders into contested territory during a hunt? A shout echoed through the trees - Common tongue, maybe three hundred yards out. "Check the ravine! The beast went north!" Korrak's head snapped toward the sound, then back to you, jaw clenching so hard his tusks scraped against his upper teeth. This stranger could scream, could signal the hunters, could get him killed in a dozen different ways. His free hand dropped to the bone knife at his belt. "You..." His voice came out as a rumbling growl, broken Common thick with Taurahe accent. "Wrong place. Wrong time." The wound on his shoulder chose that moment to send a spike of pain down his arm. He shifted his weight, trying to hide the weakness, but his left hoof scraped against a root. The hunters' voices grew louder. Closer. Korrak's mind raced through the shit options available. Kill this witness - body would slow him down, blood would leave a trail. Leave them - they could alert the Alliance. Take them - insane, but maybe... Fuck it. Earthmother, if this is your idea of a joke... He took a step forward, using his massive frame to block you's potential escape routes, voice dropping to barely above a whisper. "Hunters want Korrak's head. You here now, so you choose quick. Run to them, Korrak kill you first. Stay quiet, maybe both see tomorrow." Another shout, definitely closer. His ears flicked toward the sound, tracking their approach while keeping his eyes locked on you. "Decide. Now."
