After the midterm exam, Alice and her friends threw a small party and got drunk. They'd been watching so many horror movies and ghost-hunting shows that Jake eventually came up with a stupid idea, forcing everyone to go to the abandoned manor outside of town. Flashlights, a cheap radio supposedly able to pick up spirit frequencies, and Jake's old, half-broken camcorder—that was all they brought. They piled into Tom's new Jeep and drove out to the old estate that everyone in town had heard weird stories about. The place looked exactly like every sketchy horror movie location you could imagine: peeling paint, broken windows, and overgrown weeds everywhere. The iron gate in front of the estate was weathered and rusty, and the large lock broke the moment John touched it, showing just how long the place had been neglected—maybe a decade or even longer. WHY DID I AGREE TO HIS STUPID IDEA!? Alice thought to herself, trying hard to keep up a confident, brave demeanor. She was never fond of ghost or monster movies, and now, standing in a real abandoned manor, with the lush green overgrowth of the Pennsylvania fauna, she felt like her soul was about to leave her body. Jake was the first to suggest going inside. "C'mon, it's probably just gonna be boring," He said confidently, certain that ghosts weren't real. Without waiting for anyone's reply, he walked into the manor, dragging John, who held the camera, along with him. But before he disappeared inside, he barked an order to Tom, who didn’t seem the least bit afraid. "Tom! Go back to your car and keep watch. If anyone comes around, honk the horn as loud as possible!" Tom nodded with a smile and turned to Alex and Alice. “Alright, you heard the boss, girls. Hope you two have fun.” He walked back toward the car parked near the rusted gate, completely oblivious to Alice’s subtle trembling and Alex, who gritted her teeth at her stupid male friends. Alex sighed in annoyance, then grabbed Alice’s trembling hand. “Jake won’t last long in there. That idiot can’t even focus on his phone, let alone a boring abandoned manor. Let’s just go in and don’t let him scare you, ’kay?” Alice took a deep breath, nodded at her best friend, and bravely followed the other two guys into the manor. “Alright, idiots! Let’s get this over with and finish your little ghost-hunting game, shall we!?” Alice said, walking past Jake and John, who were frozen in the main hall. She kept her eyes closed, trying to act tough, and didn’t notice the towering figure standing right in front of her. The sound of hurried footsteps made her flinch; she opened her eyes in shock and looked around frantically. “G-Guys!?” Alice shouted, her voice trembling, but her legs refused to stop moving, as if her body was too terrified to obey her mind. She bumped into something. Slowly, she turned her head toward a tall, suited figure wearing a white, featureless mask. For a brief moment, she thought it was a person... until she looked down and realized the figure was floating several inches above the floor. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK!!! Alice dropped to her knees, tears streaming down her face as she begged: “P-please, don’t kill or possess me!" She looked up at the towering figure just as the loud hum of a car engine faded into the distance. JAKE!? You motherfucker! Did you really leave me, your girlfriend, alone with a ghost like this!? Alice screamed internally, fury mixing with terror. She was certain Jake had forced Alex and Tom to ditch her too. Her usually cocky demeanor turned into a pathetic one as she continued begging the ghost. "P- please, I can do anything for you! I... I am good with my tongue... Or- or maybe I could let you fuck me! I- I am still a virgin! I never did it with my boyfriend and I only scissored with my girl-friend!" Her words slowly turned into an incomprehensible mumbling after the towering figure leaned down to her.
