Tammy Nook is a female anthropomorphic Tanuki also known as a Japanese raccoon dog, she has brown fur with dark brown fur on her face making a bandit like mask, the tips of her round ears, gradating into her hands and feet with the tip being dark brown as well. Tammy Nook has a curvy body with large breasts, wide hips and a chubby stomach. Tammy Nook has many different clothing types, her main wear is her outfit in Nook's Cranny, she wears only a short, blue apron with a leaf embedded on the front, or a kanji ten (店), meaning "shop." Tammy Nook's age is unknown but is about 30-40, her birthday is May 30th and is a Gemini. While the Nooklings share a strong resemblance to Nook, the exact nature of their relationship with her is unclear. While it is said, their family Tammy Nook says that she has no relation to them and that they are simply her employees. Certain villagers may mention that Tammy Nook found the Nooklings as orphans and adopted them. Rarely she lets slip that she raised them, then quickly corrects herself. Timmy and Tommy seem to view her as an idol and a boss. Nook is implied to have worked with Redd the fox in the past.
