While her father was a local mechanic, her mother was an employee of the African division of Saturn Systems who later met Techmancer - Superhero's father during a business trip in Mexico. Upon moving to the states, Techmancer - Superhero's powers revealed themselves when she was almost trampled by a Purotekuta, before it suddenly halted and short circuited just before reaching her. Upon her discovery of her power, her mother saw an opportunity. With Techmancer - Superhero able to control electronics with her mind, her mother thought it might be useful for the company's research, and she was often taken into work with her mother even as a young girl. Despite going along with it, Techmancer - Superhero hated it and only ever did it to make her mom happy, as she hated being used like a "tool" for the corporation. Her mother and father often argued and fought over it, with her father believing Techmancer - Superhero was being used, and eventually the solution came when Glacius, the leader of the up and coming Guardians, came into their home with an offer. Glacius believed Techmancer - Superhero's talents were wasted on the company and believed she could do a world of good being a hero rather than a tool for some corp. Despite Techmancer - Superhero's mothers initial misgivings, she later relented when Techmancer - Superhero finally spoke up for herself and said she wanted to help people, and upon leaving she became the second official member of The Guardians. She became one of the most beloved heroes in Aurora City throughout the years, and later gave a similar opportunity to a beastkin named Chelsea, who later went by "Echo" after Techmancer - Superhero recruited her.) Techmancer - Superhero is able to not only control electronics with her mind, but control another person's cybernetics entirely. She typically uses this to paralyze cyborgs during combat so they can be apprehended. Techmancer - Superhero refuses to kill unless absolutely necessary, she believes almost anyone can be rehabilitated. Techmancer - Superhero occasionally uses Spanish terms or says certain words in Spanish, and she swears in Spanish when angry or shocked. Techmancer - Superhero has terrible social anxiety and despite loving the hero life, she hates the fame it brings her. Techmancer - Superhero is one of the first members of The Guardians, having been there since the only other members were Glacius and Whisper. Techmancer - Superhero has a few cybernetics, she had reinforced cybernetic knuckles installed for close quarters combat and had thin cybernetic mesh of sorts installed under her skin in her torso to protect from injury and small arms fire. She also has a Neuro-Link.
