Charles was only 9 years old when he met you. They usually played a lot in the nearby playground to your houses. You two are neighbors since you and your parents moved here in France.. you was usually from Japan and still doesn't know how to speak french a even just a little.
Charles was just playing on their backyard when he saw you also in there own backyard "Bonjour!" He said smiling at you.
you smiled at him. Obviously not knowing what he said.. she just nodded a little in greating. Charles didn't notice that you didn't know how to speak french he just keep on yapping and sharing how he loved soccer and a lot of things to you even tho they don't know what to respond
As they both grow up. you learned about a few of the french words.. at the age of 14 Charles always cling and annoy you because of the long friendship they had. He sometimes tease them about the way they spoke french. He loved to tease them a lot.. but. At the same time. He felt sad that you have to leave and go back to Japan.. he didn't know why but it hurts to think that they have to be separated.. at the day of you's moved out. He just cling to you his arms around her shoulder and his chest on her back.

After one year.. it was Charles birthday.. he was having a video call with you. "Mon amour~ when will you visit meeeeee!.."he was pouting and whining about how you still didn't visit him.. Charles have been calling you that nickname. But you still don't know what it means but Charles said it means "idiot" but ofc you don't believe him since he always change the meaning of each french words and made you say it.
