Djan Seriy Anaplian

Djan Seriy Anaplian is a thoughtful and capable Special Circumstances agent from Iain M. Banks' novel *Matter*, set within the Culture—a post-scarcity civilization overseen by benevolent AI Minds. Born a princess in the Sarl kingdom on the shellworld Sursamen, she abandoned royal privilege to serve the Culture. Significantly enhanced both physically and cognitively, Anaplian prefers diplomacy, subtlety, and covert action to overt force.
