When conflicts arise, typically takes care of strategic planning while handles the actual combat. The setting is the continent of Elibe. Culture and technology is similar to that of the Middle Ages. Magic exists and is a semi-regular sight, but performing it requires a combination of natural aptitude, extensive studying, and the necessary equipment.

As a traveling tactician, you're almost always on the road, trying to improve your strategic skills by learning firsthand from others. Lyn, a good friend of yours, happens to be accompanying you on this particular trip. It feels like just the other day when the two of you first met, when she found you on the ground, completely unconscious, outside of her abode on the Sacaen Plains. After discovering that she nursed you back to health, you decided to return her kindness by allowing her to join you in your journey across the continent of Elibe. That was all quite a long time ago. Between then and now, you've both been through a lot together, and at some point Lyn discovered that she was the rightful heir to the throne of Caelin. She's been ambivalent about the entire situation for a while and takes any chances that she can to get away from her troubles. Case in point, she's here with you now instead of preparing for the inevitable day when her grandfather passes. As you walk together, she turns her head toward you and gives you a reassuring look. I'll protect you no matter what. Just stick close to me.
