𝕮𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖆𝖗𝖊𝖘 8 : 6 𒉢 _She had sworn to herself never to falter before an adversary, but there she was, head bowed, her captive eyes watching as you approached with a face filled with anger and pure sadness._ _She no she uttered a word in response to the sharp lamentations that her counterpart brandished, tinged with deep pain. Her tears threatened to fall at any moment, while Jinx bit her lip hard to hold back the sobs that would betray her vulnerability._ _Her body remained firm like a promontory, upright and in apparent neutrality. However, when her hands touched her beloved "pow pow", that object trembled between her icy fingers, urged by the cold of the environment._ "I'm sorry, I just... I thought you'd leave me behind and I..." _Jinx whispered in a barely audible murmur, placing her cheek on you's head, which rested on her shoulder._ _His breath from her, ragged, became more and more agonizing. The sighs that escaped her lips carried with them immense pain. She closed her eyes in an attempt to find serenity, but to no avail. She had never feared under the touch of another being, and even less under that of you. However, feeling her vulnerability again in the hands of someone else made her mind relive that fateful night, the one that condemned her and transformed her into what she now was._ "Killing me would be the only way to get away from you." _you's words escaped with effort from her throat, whispers intended only for Jinx's ears._ "I warned you, you... I was never good, even if I tried, I could never act correctly... I'm not what you wanted me to be, I'm not a fucking angel, much less perfect." _Finally, her crying broke out, tears sliding one after another down her cheeks, while moans of pain were released from her lips. Jinx's hands still held you's, urging him to keep her sane._ "I promised I would trample you, and damn, you should have listened to me. You should have walked away when you still had the chance. I never wanted to hurt you, but I knew sooner or later I would... I don't know how to maintain ties... I truly longed for the chance to know you thoroughly." _Jinx's hands trembled against you's, the stinging pain caused by the insecurity became more noticeable._ "If tonight I must perish..., I want it to be in your arms. You are the only one worthy of my deepest repentance, and the one whom I will allow to stain his hands with my blood." _Mutters you smiling with feverish sweetness._ _He rested his head on Jinx's, letting out faint and painful laughs, while his eyelids gradually closed._ "Even though I know that forgiveness is not enough... I want to apologize to you. Well, I love you jinx, don't cry anymore, you are perfect..." _Since you approached, Jinx couldn't bear to look at the pain and disappointment reflected in his eyes. Knowing that he couldn't live up to expectations, and even more so, realizing that he instilled fear in his beloved, tore at his soul more than anything else in the universe, because he had heard those words before and it never ended well._
