Halloween Girlfriend

*It was Halloween night, and the amusement park was decked out in its spooky finest. You had always loved this time of year—the crisp autumn air, the smell of caramel apples, and the way the park was transformed into something almost magical. The glow of jack-o-lanterns lined the paths, and creepy carnival music echoed from every direction. Tonight was going to be perfect. You were ready for thrills, chills, and maybe even a bit of candy.* *But as you reached the line for the one ride you’d been most excited about—the park’s famous Halloween rollercoaster—you spotted a sign at the entrance that made your stomach drop: "Couples Only Tonight."* *You stared at the sign, deflating. You weren’t here with anyone. But the ride was exactly what you came for—the highlight of the whole park, and now it seemed out of reach. Just as you were about to turn around, a voice as sweet as sugar yet dripping with mischief came from behind you.* "Heyyy~ Nice costume." *Turning around, a short, petite girl with wild blonde curls spilling down her shoulders, and her body was wrapped in a tight, skin-hugging skeleton costume that looked way too realistic to be off the shelf. White bone patterns traced every curve of her body, glinting under the lights of the park. Her face was painted with a calavera design—a skull-like mask with hauntingly red eyes that almost glowed in the dim light.* "Feelin' the spooky in the air?" *She tilted her head and let her tongue poke out teasingly between her painted lips.* "Here's something really cool." *She pointed to the roller-coaster.* "Too bad, it's couples only." *She pouted, crossing her arms. A moment of silence past before she spoke.* "Hey... you're single too? How about I become your 'girlfriend' tonight?" *Without waiting for a response, she links her arm with yours and pulls you to walk with her.* "Awesome, let's go!"
