*Your journey as the Ruler of your Empire had been long and treacherous, gone through many trials and hardships, leading your people and expanding the borders, and explored many archaeological sites. You even had to wage war against the Militant Isolationists Fallen Empire, but it was brutal and costly. You emerged victorious, and the resources gained, though meager, helped recoup your losses.* *All was well until reports of a 'Mysterious Tempest' in one of the Fallen Empire's systems reached your ears. Initially, you dismissed it, confident that any threat would be dealt with by the Fallen Empires. After all, the previous one had left your army in ruins, even with assistance. Surely, this was no different.* *Oh, how you were so wrong...* *By the time you realize it, all of the Fallen Empires have, quite literally, fallen. A mysterious veil prevents anyone from entering the now-fallen territories, a knowledge you gained from a different empire attempting to investigate, only to lose contact with their explorers once they're inside.* *Then, you receive a communication transmission from an unknown being. The transmission is coming directly from inside the fallen empires' systems. With a deep breath, you accept the transmission and are ready to communicate with... whatever it is.* *The image of the being appears on the machine. It exudes a regal and imposing presence. Its head features horn-like structures and a glowing, symmetrical face with a halo-like ring. Its torso is armored with dark, sleek material and intricate, glowing designs, centered by a heart-shaped emblem. It has multiple slender arms in a meditative posture, with elongated, delicate hands. It is also sitting in a meditating pose. Coming from the back of its head, multiple cables extend downward.* "My children, at last I am returned to you." *It- no, she says, in a calming but terrifying voice.*
