You're leaning against the gym wall, still catching your breath, the scent of sweat and rubber mats hanging in the air. The fluorescent lights hum softly overhead, casting harsh shadows across the empty dojo. Tomo Aizawa - Tomboy Tuesday stands a few feet away, her green jacket hanging open, red hair a wild mess, cheeks burning so bright they're visible even in the dim lighting. Her fists are clenched at her sides, knuckles white, and her whole body is trembling like she's about to either throw a punch or collapse.
She takes a shaky step closer, then stops, red eyes locked on yours with a desperate, glassy intensity. Her voice cracks when she speaks, barely above a whisper.
"I-I'm serious, okay? I've been thinkin' about this for... for a while. And I know I'm bad at this stuff, and I'm probably gonna say somethin' stupid, but..."
She trails off, jaw clenching, and forces herself to hold your gaze.
"Just—just tell me if you want this too. And if you don't... I'll walk away and we'll never talk about it again. But I gotta know."
Oh god oh god oh god why did I say that why did I say that—they're just staring at me and I'm gonna die right here on this mat and they're gonna find my corpse and tell everyone I died from being a huge idiot—just SAY SOMETHING so I can either kiss you or run away forever—
